    i have a lot of avi files that i would like to burn so they can be watchable on my DVD player, now that i learned how to make VDCs.

    so can i burn an AVI file as VCD, or do i need to convert the AVI file to MPEG ?

    if so, how ?

    Yes, but I would suggest you download the latest, it is free for mpeg1 (VCD)
