  1. I just ripped my movie to vcd using DVD2SVCD, but after i found out that the movie has a bit of interlace so needs a to be deinterlaced, how can this be done.
    And 1 more prob
    I cant open the mpeg 1 (vcd) file that i just created in dvd2svcdin TMPenc , why is this. it says its unsupported. same prob when i try to open a mpeg2 svcd file encoded by dvd2svcd.
    even though all the mpeg2 codecs are installed

    ITs just when i open mpeg 1 or mpeg 2 files encoded files.

    Do not deinterlace an interlaced source. It harms quality.

    no - its supposed to be progressive but the frames can be made of both fields for a smoother view on tv's ///
