    When I convert avi and mpeg with TMPEnc the movies seem to pause very, very briefly every couple of seconds. This does not seem to matter in action shots but especially on slow shots or panning it is quite annoying. Is there a way of stopping this? The avi's and mpegs seem to run fine before they are encoded for DVD.

    Any ideas?

    which DVD template did you choose in tmpgenc??

    you're in UK, right?? so i assume PAL ~25 fps

    Yes I convert it to PAL dvd using TMPEnc. Does not seem to affect it how high i set the bit rate either?
