  1. I can't get any video in. I first get a warning message that tv/video capture quality will be degraded because DMA isn't enabled for my hard disk (whatever that means -- supposedly I can fix this in the system settings), I then get an error message that atimmc.exe has performed and illegal operation, then exits the TV application.

    Anyone had this experience & know how to fix it?

  2. DMA? This is an option you can choose in the Configuration-System-screen?

  3. I had the problem as well when I used the upgraded drivers on the ATI site. I found that the DMA problem has very little if anything to do the the playback. Try un-installing the program and restarting your computer. When you install the program again read carefully the questions asked during the installation. My best advice is to use the express installation and go with the flow. Some times all the drivers are not loaded and the device will not work.
