    i hope this is the right forum..............i have an old movie that i wanna back up, the problem is that the latter part of the film is kinda corrupt, meaning that it always skips and jerks and shit...im wondering after i rip it to my hd is there software in the tools section that can help me rectify my problem, maybe something like virtual dub which can scan my .vob for bad frames or something.....any suggestions...holla back

  2. Well is it the disc or the VOB files that contain the error? If it's a cracked/damgaged disc and you can rip all the VOB files then that should fix the problem. If the VOB files themselves contain the errors then it's a little harder to fix.

    You can rip, de-mux, open the m2v file, edit, re-save (normally re-encode), re-mux (IFOEdit or re-author), then burn.
