I have an avi file with missing index block so I'm unable to play the file with Windows Media Player 9. However, I'm still able to open the file with VideoLAN. What I'd like to know is if there's any way I can repair the index file that's damaged.
How did I know I have a missing index block? I opened it with VirtualDub and it say so. It says:
AVI: Index not found or damaged -- reconstructing via file scan
AVI: Invalid chunk detected at 177988006. Enabling aggressive recovering mode
Please HELP. Thank you...
