Please help me in urgent need

Please help, everytime i attempt to burn a dvd i get a write error. I have a Sony DW-U10A and i use Nero Burning Rom. The discs i use are datawrite. Its the same error everytime, it happens as soon as it starts the write process. Any help would be muchly appreciated thanks a lot.

It just says write error no code or error message with it

Does this only happen when you attempt to write dvd's? Does it also happen when you write data DVD's? Do you have DMA on your system? Did you just get your dvd burner and out of the box it does this or did this just start happening.

Maybe including a screen shot of the error would help. Maybe including some information about your system would help.

Im running a P3 800 with 256RAM. It has always been like this, this happens whether i do a copy or a data dvd.
