pioner dvd player

Hi got a question or I should say an experience that is occurring always with my DVD player only with my DVD player I got a pioneer dv355, I’ve backed up a movie using DVD encrypted clone DVD 1.1.7.1 and last two chapter or should the end of movies my player is freezing and trying to read the disc and all of a sudden it just stop playing the funny thing is I went to my mates house and tried in his player and works fine I also noticed I can not burn with Nero it just doesn’t play the movie at all can any one let know what going on with. This player is spouse to play every format

Does this only happen on this specific backup or others also ?, have you tried copying the same backup to a different dvdr ?

i tried differnet dvd-r some movies paly fine but i just bougth a new bach of maxdata 4x dark purple disc the ones i had before were a gold brown and had no problems witht thoes ones.
but why dose it work on the pc , my mates dvd player and on the xbox
