My problem is specifically with the audio captured from TV/VHS. It has a high pitched buzzing to it and I have no clue how to get rid of it. I've tried ripping the audio into a wav and filter it with Cool Edit, but no luck. Does anyone have a suggestion how to fix it? I have a Pinnacle PCTV Studio, onboard VIA soundcard(stop cringing) and the vcr is a Philips Magnovox.
I did not see a forum for this.

Well, without any help from here, I figured out how to filter this sound out. Using CoolEdit, you can use the FTT filter and selecting treble reduce.
