Ok, I'm wanting to look into high speed internet providers but don't know which ones will fall into the category I'm going describe. What I need is a company that will give me one monthly rate but with two different locations that will be online. The one location is here at the house and the other is at my dad's office. We want to both be under one company with one monthly rate but I am having trouble finding a provider that covers both areas. Any help or recommendations here would be great.

i dought you'll get much help at this fourm.
try this fourm http://www.dslreports.com/forums/all
there is a waiting period of something like 4 days before you can post, but you may find people that use the same companys in your area.
as for billing,if its the same company i dont see why they wouldn't do it.if one accout costs $50,two accounts will cost $100.if you cant find the same compny well theres satellite, but its slow as dsl and costs alot more.if you go with two companys there are services that can pay it just like one bill(online or your bank) -
Ok, thanks I will look into it but still would hope i get some more replies at this forum as well.

Pyrate,
Who has the cable TV franchise in those 2 location? Over here the biggy is now Comcast, but there are a couple others not too far away, so your 2 might be under 2 companies. If that's the case, you probably won't get your wish.
If a single provider does cover both locations, there should be no prob with a consolidated bill.
Tho' I have cable, I still have a dial-up also, and pay both my and my daughter's bill in Erie at the same time to the same provider. Note the same provider, Stargate. I keep the dial-up because the cable co has no dial-up for when the cable goes out.
Man, I hate it when I have to use it -
gmatov,
Here at the house we have Insight Communications, however where my dad's office is(in the downtown area of a large city), insight communications isn't offered but Time Warner might be. So it does sound as if we might get screwed on this one. -
Pyrate,
Not necessarily screwed. I mean, if the same proviider gave you both, he would charge you double, and possibly more, as the office account would probably be considered business use, and charged for at a business rate.
Just get the 2 providers to put a modem in each place and pay separately. The account for the office is probably deductible as a business expense.
Just be glad you're not here, as, when Comcast took over ATTs area, they required me to either get cable TV ( I had the Dish ) or pay 15 more per month for internet. -
Well that's no good, sounds to me like they tried to give you the shaft.
