can't get movie to play

I'm trying to get a movie to play and I don't seem to have the right codec and can't figure out what I need.I tried a program called AVIcodec,and it says the codec I need is OpenDivx v4 but I can't figure out what I need to download to get it to work.I'm very new to all of this and if someone can help me out I would appreciate it very much.

Why not look in the Tool section at left under codecs. Find a pack then load it?

Thanks for the advice,but I already looked there and couldn't find one that said it was for OpenDivx v 4.That's why I'm asking people on here to help me.
