    I understand the difference between PAL and NTSC and I understand there are several regions that DVD are issued. What I do not know, is whether region 2 DVD's are PAL formatted or NTSC formatted or both. I would like to convert region 2 DVD's to region 1 so I do not have to buy another player (possibly pal TV). Reason is that many shows I like only come in region 2. Please help me get started

    simple way, BUY Multisystem TV and DVD region free!...
    to make zone 2 to 1 all you need is 1 sec...than burn again the DVD...
    i do not understand why....
