  1. I don't see it get much "run" here. Is anyone using it for anything? Someone told me it was OK for cartoons.

I don't think it's good for much, especially cartoons. It's a streaming format, and has no real use outside streaming content.

  5. I have real on my computer. I used to hate them. But they do have some good streaming media solutions. And it has great compatibility. The only thing that I don't like about them is that the programs are quite a bit bloated, and tend to try to take over everything. I tend not to use them often, but I wouldn't put them completely down. They do have some very talanted programers. Alot of hard work went into the programs, and they work great for what they are.

Hmm you are holding back, tell us what you really think.

But really, what i want to do is take a RM video stream that is on a website and download it to my PC to convert to an mpeg. Is it possible?

  11. The only way I know of to do this is with a screen capture app, but the final quality won't be very good, probably no worse than the rm file though

I saw one (an app) posted here a while back, but cannot remember the name.
