problem after conversion with audio/movie

hi,i had dvd(not original) and used dvd shrink to put the 4.12 gig vobs to hard drive.i used vobedit to join the vobs but still ended up with 4 1.1gig vobs.i then used vobm201 to join up as one vob successfully.i then used dvd2avi to get a d2v(638)meg file and my ac3 192kbs wav file.when i go to tmpgenc and calculate so i can fit on to 2 svcd,the sound dont match the movie by quite a few minutes.i checked the 4.12 vob in powerdvd and movie is ok.i must be doing somewrong somewhere in dvd2avi.under audio in dvd2avi ,i did selet convert to wav.it seems the problem is at beginning where the menu is.the sound of the select menu at beginning is still playing when movie starts.any help please?. thanks ian

i recieved reply elswhere saying that i shouldnt of joined the vobs first.i should of used dvd2avi using vobs ripped from dvd.thanks
