Hi
I have an issue sending the edited file back to the dv tape.
It starts ok but while watching the transfer through my LCD viewfinder can here and see distorted footage.
The sound and the speed of the film slow down to a screeching sound, then speed up and go back to normal until it happens again. (It happens about 10 times through a 30 min film for around 5-10sec every time)... playback on my PC is fine.
It is almost as if my PC is having trouble transfering at the correct speed, it slows down then speeds up again.
I have tried disabling Norton, defragmenting my c drive, deleting files that are not needed through "Disc cleanup"... all without success.
I have 12GB free and the file I'm trying to send to dv tape is 4.7GB.
Is my PC too slow??
Does the transfer to DV tape get effected even at the slightest jump or scratch in the original footage??
I am transferring through a Firewire (IEEE 1394) to a JVC DVM5 camera.
Using "Showbiz" movie editor.
Please help me, very desperate... Thanx.

It's not a Black and White world, to be alive the colours must swirl.
And I believe that maybe today, we would all get to appreciate.... The Beauty of Gray.
