    Hi people,
Major was so awesome in answering my question a bit ago, now I'm starting to use the program a bunch and have a question.
I'm encoding off of a Video TS file, to some editable format,
I encoded to DivX, but it always seems a bit too low resolution for what I'm doing. I'm going to use my video projector to show my video.
I used the calculators, and chose Best Quality and all that,
I guess my question is this...
Is there a format that I can encode this Video TS to which will be editable in Final cut or Imovie that will be as hi resolution as the TS file?
    Boy, that's a mouthfull........
    Thanks,
    JBOT

  2. You can use the DivX (libavc) preset, then change image size to DVD, then click "Best" to calculate bitrate. Use DivX Doctor II on the resulting .avi to create a dependent .mov file you can then open in Final Cut.
