  1. OK - I am trying to create a DVD with dual sound - german / english - so what sound format would you suggest to incooperate for this - the sound should be switchable , no need for menu switch a simple remote switch will do just fine , and how would you do this ??

    Go for AC3. It takes less space and it's more compliant.

    I did convert them with besweet to ac.3 but how will i get them now together with the film ??

    you will need software that supports multiple audio streams.

    the cheapest one I know of is ReelDVD ($600??) from Sonic. I've heard that either DVD Wise or DVD Junior supports, but I have no experience with either of them.

    Check the Tools section under DVD Authoring.

    there is also a workaround to get DVD Lab to author existing vobs with multiple audio streams that you create with IFOedit, but I am totally lost when I look at that program... there was a guide or thread on it that I saw recently, if I can find it I'll link to it here.
