PLAYBACK ERROR; Even after it worked once

I put my cd into the stand-alone dvd player, it was taking quite a long time to load. Then after a minute or two, this message came up:

Disc Error: Playback feature may not be available on this disc.


The weird thing is that I had already tested it once, and it worked on the stand alone player, so why does it not work, even after a test?

what type of CD you have?? (S)VCD??

you have standard, compliant VCD or it's xVCD???

how fast you burning?

does the VCD work on your PC?

try testing your VCD on friend's dvd player and c if it works there.
