Hi,
I want to capture video and camera cassettes to DVD.
I am going to buy a professional real time mpeg-2 capture card.
What do you think about Pinnacle DVD1000?
Or which capture card do you suggest me?

Sorry to tell you but this not real time mpeg-2 capture card.

Hey OS_MAN,
I was in your same position a month ago. I wanted to purchase a realtime hardware based MPEG captured card. After all my software solutions produced poor results.
So instead I spent my money on a standalone recorder (the new Sony RDR-GX7) it supports DVD -R,-RW,+RW. I capture with the RDR-GX7 recorder; then save it to a DVD-RW. Then on my computer, I import it to DVD Author to create better menu options.
The best part is the final DVD is burned on my SONY DRU-500A, with excellent AUDIO/VIDEO SYNC results.
