    Hi,
I've been experimenting with DVDFab. It's a great program when it works. Some of the discs I've burned play fine in both the PC and my Toshiba player. But sometimes when I put a disc in my player, the player will flash a Disc Error, and the TV screen will show Not NTSC. If I advance to the next chapter with the remote, the disc plays fine. If I put the same disc in other players, these Not NTSC discs don't play at all. These discs do in fact come from an NTSC source, so I'm a bit confused. I've tried burning the discs with Nero, and also by creating a disc image and burning the image with DVD Decrypter. Same results.

Anyone have a similar experience, and a fix?

There is no place that I can find within DVDFab to change any of the parameters that you have listed. I have used all of the default settings.

If you are talking about the way I set up Nero, I burned the DVD as a data DVD, and just dragged the VIDEO_TS file into the compilation window. Is there a place within Nero to specify the other settings?

  6. Does using the DVD_Video option in Nero not work for your player?

Haven't tried the DVD Video option. I don't know if I should drag the VIDEO_TS over or open it and just drag the contents into the VIDEO_TS folder that's already in the compilation window. Do you think my method of making a data DVD with the VIDEO_TS file is producing a non-standard DVD that the player is balking at?

    Thanks
