Hi Guys!
I've recently bought a DVD+-R recorder and it works like a charm, what is the problem is that my standalone CyberHome only plays a few brands of DVD+R media. I figured it would play the Platinum DVD+R which it didn't, something I discovered after buying a 25 disc spindleThe question now is, is it possible to change the DVD-ROM in this player, to make it compatible with almost any DVD+R -R brand? I'm not looking to convert it just for the DVD+R's I got now. I've burned on a different brand earlier and those disc work really fine, but the store doesn't carry them anymore.
Anyone?
Chazzie

Have a look at the unofficial help site at:
http://www.cyberhome-help.de/english/
There is a forum there specifically for that player (I used to have one). There are a number of posts there dealing with DVD-ROM, or you can obviously post your own question. Good site - also deals with firmware issues. -
Seems like it will play the discs now. I backed up three different films and it played very well. Might've been the burning process...
