    I am looking for a Encoder that will convert a Windows Media Video/Audio file to a MPEG format have tried TMPEnc and it did not seem to work can some1 recommend another?

    kept freezing plus it was really slow took 4 hours to convert 50% of a 55min file

  4. Encoding in general is a slow CPU intensive process. If you want something faster than TMPGenc try CCE (basic costs about the same) or Main Concept or Ulead. What kind of system are your running, the filters you use, the source codec, etc. also affect encoding speed.
