  1. Well, I'm from germany and I bought a Region 1 DVD of a movie which is not released in RC2-Land.
I have the movie on vhs. On the dvd are the languages english and french. Now I wanted to record the audio of the vhs-tape and replace the french audio with the german audio.
First, I used SmartRipper to extract the english language from the dvd and converted it into wav. I recorded the audio from the vhs-tape in wav format and used an audio-editing program to change the speed of the german wav-file (pal speed-up) and used the english audio to compare both streams and successfully made a sync german audio-file and converted it to the ac3-format

My problem is the following: Now I simply want to replace the french audio-track with the german one but I can't find a program which can do this. I don't want to re-author the dvd, because I want to use the original menus and chapters.
In theory I only have to delete the french audio and replace it but every program wants to demux the stream first.

I want something simple like Tmpeg with svcd: Mpeg-Tools -> Multiplex -> Load svcd-mpg -> select audio stream -> use 'del' key -> Add -> select german audio stream -> define file-name -> Hit run

Is there something simple like that?

    Please help

    q-tip

PS: Another problem: The original audio has a delay of about 110 ms - I need a multiplex program where I can set audio-delay.
PPS: I already thought of bbmpeg but wouldn't I loose the subtitles then? And how can I convert mpg to vob?
