Hi all,
I'm new to TV capture and I'm looking for some advice.
I've recently purchased a cheap TV Card (its a phillips chipset). I'm wondering on the correct procedure of connecting it to my video (Daewoo Nicam VHS). The Video has S-Video on the front (I think its S-Video out, but don't have the manual to verify), and there is S-Video on the back of the TV Card (the instructions are not detailed at all).
My RF/Aeiral lead goes into the back of the video, and from there, a scart lead into the back of the TV. Now I want to capture the signal from the video (TV and video tape).
I'm I right in presuming the S-video connection on the back of the TV card is S-Video-in, and not out? If so, would it be possible to connect video > TV Card via S-Video? Or would I need one of those other leads (can't remember what, but the standard cable that comes with the video to connect to the TV)?
Thanks in advance
