Hi,
I have the full purchased version of AVI_IO. It's been capturing brilliantly but now when i start capture, after 2 or so minutes, i get this error
"Sorry, no more I/O buffers available, reduce datarate"
I have no idea how to do that, as i can't find any options that says how to do reduce it.
Please help!

What codec's are u using? Copression? Resolution?
I have also found that if youre capturing in RGB 24 bit, its tends to be quite slow...capture in YUV format....
Give a bit more info...someone will be able to help. -
This error occurs when your harddrive can't keep up with the datarate of your capture. You need to either lower the resolution or use a codec that offers better compression (HuffYUV or MJPEG are preferable if you plan to do any further editing of the video, such as converting it to (s)vcd). Or you could try a modification of Virtualdub called Virtualdub_sync, which is the best capture tool imo.
