    i have a svcd and it is not compatible with my dvd player but vcds are so i want to convert it wiht out out losing thta much quality
    what is the best way to do this

    The best way to not lose any quality is to use the Header Trick. It fools the player into playing an SVCD by applying mpeg1 headers to an mpeg2 file. Some players support it (like Sony's) and some don't, give it a try. Here's a guide.

    You will need to extract the SVCD file to an mpeg first, here's a guide.

    If the Header Trick doesn't work then you can convert the extracted mpeg2 to vcd, here's a guide.
