  1. ok so my problem is not just with 1 movie is with any movie i do divx, ac3 anything it starts encoding and all but then the finished video skips frames like the video freezes for random amounts of time 1 sec or 2 and then the video get out of sync can any1 gimme sum help here??

    which way are you going? DivX AVI to MPG? MPG to AVI? what program you use that give the problem?

  3. im going avi to mpeg with tmpgenc and virtualdub to extract the audio.

  11. Well you can forget about checking for bad frames as if you have encoded and the mpeg file plays ok on your PC then there is nothing wrong with the file itself. What are you encoding to SVCD or DVD.

    Try getting some more ram, 128MB of ram is insufficinet to do anything with especially with XP running, you should have 256 minimum, 512 would be better

  15. maybe you are using other media than you normaly do ?

    try to burn at a lower speed and see what you come up with.
