    I have an ASF movie file which I cannot play thru Windows Media Player #9. I have downloaded all the latest codecs and still nothing. 2 Questions....What do I need to play this file ? & will I be able to encode it with TMPGEnc so that I can view it thru a DVD player ?.

    Please Help !!!!

    Try ASFtools which is available in the tools area of this web site. It should be able to scan/rebuild/fix your asf file and then convert it to an avi wrapper if you want.
