  1. I have never seen a study on this but have read a couple post that says that 4X burning is not as reliable as 2X burning. One post said 1X was the most reliable. Are there any studies on this?

I burn my masters from a Mac at 2X and duplicate on a 4X duplicator and I have never had a problem.

An internet search hasn't turned up any information either.

    Thanks

  2. you're referring to CD-Rs right, not DVD-R/+Rs??

try limiting burning max CD-R to 4X as some standalones will not like anything burned faster....however, there shouldn't be any big difference if you burn at the max, as long as the media is rated for that speed.

  3. Do not post the same topic in more than one forum in the future.
