i've heard of them.....the last i knew, they were only factory manufactured.....and as far as i know you can't find blank silver cd-r's in the united states........

What do you mean by "silver" CD-Rs? CD-Rs with a silver reflective layer and phthalocyanine dye (usually called "platinum" CDs) will look silver. But if you're talking about commercial audio CDs, those are pressed aluminum, which is not a burnable type of media.

What about the Audio CDR's are those silver not that I would use them but just asking.

They're the same as regular CD-Rs, but you pay a royalty on each disc (presumed that you are going to be copying music). For computer burners, it just wasted money.

THe CDR's you are looking for a regular CDR's. You can find them at any computer show.

i know what you're talking about. some guy on ebay sells them, you'll know its him when you read the item description and he calls all other cd-r media you buy from stores "garbage", and his stuff is the **** OF THE WALK, hehe. just do a search for "silver cd-r".
he sells 50 & 100 packs. the shipping rate is way too much though, but if you really want them then i guess its a trade off.. if you do buy them, let us know how they perform.
