  1. Hello, I seen that OfficeMax has Khypermedia DVD-R on sale for 19.99(after rebate) 25-pack I have the DRU-510a and I would like to know just how good is that media, and will it work with my burner.

    Thanks

I have used these for data with no problems. However if you use this media for movies, then dont use the entire disc. I stop most of my movies around 4200 megs.

    Enjoy

  3. Out of all the media I had used, this brand gave me the most problems, and some would not even finish burning correctly, I'd put another brand in right next and it burned and play fine. The firmware upgrades on my drive supposedly fix problems with this media, but no longer confident in it.

I too posted about this one, and the two 10 packs I have seem fine for data. But CompUSA has 10 packs on sale for 9.99 with slim cases, and I seem to recall better general comments about the CompUSA types so I got them instead.. Haven't use any yet though.

I've done about 30 things on the K-Hyper's with no problems on my machine or on a friend's old sony. Even burning them out to a little over 4GB they have been fine.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?
