Just got my DVD burner yesterday and i made one movie already. I would like to know how i can take just the movie itself and dolby digital 5.1 sound and put it on one single disk. with out reencoding, if it fits. I don't want any extras just pop in the disc and it starts playing the movie.

    thanks

  2. If it doesn't require any reencoding, you can use IfoEdit to strip out all the unwanted audio, and fix your .ifo files.Your movie will start playing right after you put it in. I wouldn't try it without following a guide unless you really know your stuff. After you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy to use, and works flawlessly every time.

  3. @motors4fun,

most transcoders will allow you to include just the main movie only.

i.e. DVDshrink has a re-authoring mode where you can just take the main movie (stripping out all the extras, menus, etc..) you can even strip out any unwanted audio tracks and subtitle tracks from the main movie itself..

the following is a good overview of several transcoders...including both keeping everything and just keeping the main movie.

the following is specific for DVDshrink...again, tells you both keeping everything and just the main movie
