Panasonic E30 and Macrovision. How do you cope?

Okay E30 owners...please chime in and tell me/us how you have defeated Macrovision. Some folks say use a time base corrector, some say get a macro-free dvd player, some say it can't be done on the E30. How do you do it (and be specific)?

I just use a macro-free dvd player. Works fine for analog copying .

I can not myself understand all the interest in making analog copies of digital media.

You can copy the DVD in a computer much faster with perfect quality.

It seems to only make sense for analog media like VHS tapes.

From what I read in many post, simplicity / speed / lack of equipment is the most common answer. Play and record, no capture, conversion etc. The quality is not perfect but quite acceptable in most cases.

Cause you can get 2 or 3 dvd flicks on one dvd-r with LP mode & you absolutely know they are going to work when you play them & they take like two minutes to finalize & title. (not including 4 minutes system time)

Try that on your computer.!
