Ok, i m just searching for some advise...Last night i was trying to see a difference between encrypting an XVID to SVCD with the little options that TMPEGenc can offert to fix couple things.
*So first, i tried without using any filter (Noise reductor, 3:2 Pulldown ect), it took me like 1:10h to encode and when i burnt it it was playing just perfect...Purely, i followed the Wizard, which offer basic settings...
*On the other side, before going to bed, i started the same thing but with filters like 3:2 Pulldown, Noise reductor, ghost reduction and simple color correction, without modifying the preset that was set for those so it took like 6:30h to encode...With the wizard too but went to activate filter options
**Hopefully, i tought that the one i did with all these filters was suppose to have the better quality in the world but no !! lol It s basically a lot less quality than the one i did without filters. If i push pause on the DVD player the picture is really clear with details, like a real DVD but when it play the frame rate looks weird and choppy !!
So, maybe i don t use the filter correctly but i think that the 3:2 PullDown mess up all the encoding cuz that filter suppose to push the frame rate to 30 fps...
Any answer or clue on that one or had a similar problem ??
