  1. Need some advice on DVD-R media for PS2 backups. Has anyone used the Apple brand DVD-R's successfully for their backups? What media does everyone recommend??

I've even seen Princo work, but some PS2 units are more touchy than others. If it will play a movie, it should play a game too, from a media stance.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.

I stick to 2X TDK DVD-R's for both PS2 game backups as well as my movie backups...first time $50 for 25 discs, but a month and a half later Target was selling 20 discs for $25 so I picked up two packs of them. The price is a bit high unless you get them on sale but I didn't want to play around with cheap media...

As for movies...Ive used an un-branded DVD-RW and these TDK DVD-R's and both worked great on my PS2, no playback problems at all. I think the early PS2's are picky about +/- Media, but V5 and on both work well.
