    I am currently using a Hauppauge PVR 250, which allows me to capture from PAL VHS directly to MPEG2. I was thinking about going with a AIW 7500 and was curious if it will support this as well?

    I have an 8500 and it will.
    I think the capture hardware is the same in 8500 & 7500

    I live in the USA and have the ALL IN WONDER RADEON my card is set to NTSC but you can change it to PAL. ALL AIW use the same software it's not that card but the software

    I have a NTSC AIW 8500: it supports only NTSC on the tuner, but supports both NTSC and PAL for composite and S-Video inputs.

    It's actually quite a handy feature for me as I'm originally from Europe but now live in the US -> it's actually the only way I can watch PAL movies as my TV only supports NTSC.
