Hi all...
I've had my Pioneer 105 DVD-R drive for a week now and I'm experimenting doing some DVD's.
I have managerd to copy 2 single layer DVD's with no problem, and converted 3 DVD-9's to DVD-5's.
I am trying to rip "The Master Of Disguse" region 2 DVD. DVDDecrypter says the disc has 2 layers and is just over 5gigs in size.
When I rip the VOB files off to my Hard Drive, the file add up to 3.2gig.
As you can see there is no point running DVD2One to reduce the files down as they will fit on to a DVD-R.
How do I go about creating my DVD from the ripped files. I have tried to look for a tutorial here but I'm not sure, what heading it would fall under
Thanks...
Ric
PS
(Sorry I clicked on the wrong link and posted this in the VCD section please can someone move it to the DVD-r section)

OK... I do this all the time as there are quite a few DVD's that usually is a little over 4.3 GB when you add up the extras or maybe the additional audio tracks.
By far the easiest way to do it, in my opinion, is to rip the entire DVD, file mode selecting all files. Then use DVD Shrink and drag and drop only the movie titleset (this is for movie only) and then uncheck the audio you don't want. Press the backup button and select no compression and you are done.
Voila... That's it. Done in less than 30 minutes.
