I have an ATI TV Wonder PCI card and am having trouble capturing in anything with a height of 480. I can capture 720x240 but not 720x480 or even 340x480. What is wrong, does the ATI card not support those capture resolutions?

try searching the forum for solutions to your problem. this has been discussed many times over. to get you in the right direction though, check your drivers. if you are using the drivers that came with your card then you should check out the btwincap generic drivers. im not sure about yours, but the drivers that came with my ATI TV Wonder did not support higher resolutions. good luck on your capturing (youre going to need it with that headache of a card).
Laserdiscs are cool, but laserdiscs on DVD-Rs are cooler. -
i was actually able to capture w/ virtual VCR in 720x480 and in 352x480 but only with the smart tree filter enabled. What is this filter? And also when i cap in 720x480 the screen has lots of little horizontal lines that reduce quality.
