    Hi
    I'm converting a 2 CD SVCD to 1 CD DivX.

    Do I......

    1) Merge the 2 Mpeg2's then convert??
    or
    2) Convert each Mpeg2 to DivX (using the same settings) then join them as avi??

    I would suggest option 2, I have never had much success trying to join mpeg2 files.

    Or use dvd2avi and open both and frameserve or convert directly to divx.
