  1. I am wondering, is there a way (or media player) that can play not just one A/V file, but handle 1 audio file and 1 video file simultaneously? This would allow me to preview the output without multiplexing, etc.

Was thinking it is possible, if I just pressed play on Winamp and WMP at the same time...but only if I could work two mice too.

Anyway, can someone give me some suggestions? Thanks a bunch!

  2. Lets see if I understand this. You have your Video in one file, and your audio in another and want to play them simultaneously without mutiplexing? Is that right?

If so, virtualdub will allow you to do this, at least if your video is avi (not sure about other formats using one of the many vdub mods around these days).

Start vdub, select File->Open video file and open your avi. Now select audio->Wav audio and select your audio file. I don't think your audio actualy has to be wav format, mp3 etc would probably work as well.

    Now jus play.

  3. Hey, I never knew that, guess you learn something everyday. Thanks Bugster. But I was thinking along the lines of playing an MPEG2 file, not an AVI. I have tried VDubMPEG2, but to no avail.
