    Greetings,

    Does anyone know of a method for getting this media encoder to accept 2GB+ .avi files? I love the quality that this tool produces, but so far I have only been able to fully utilize it's Mpeg-1 capabilities. I know that there's other encoders out there, but I have some money vested in this so I would like to keep it. Perhaps one day Ligos will actually release an update to this great stand alone encoder. Thanks for all of your help!

    I Won't go into the "quality" debate, but have you tried frameserving AVI's to it from VirtualDub ? that way you won't need to directly open any large files.
