I want to get one of the new Samsung DVD Players with DVI Output but before I put the $300 into it I am reading up a lot about Divx compression as well as Windows Media 9 and how you can fit HDTV onto a regular DVD with both of them. My question, before I put the money into the Samsung is it possible that they will be coming out with a player that will play Divx HD or Windows Media 9 HD dvd's (I assume you can only play the WM9 on a computer now) on a regular DVD Player and that a variety of prerecorder content could become available?
