  1. I tried opening up a VOB within TMPGE and got this 2 error messages "pure virtual call ... " and "VOB is unsupported...". However when I tried others, it works.. Has anyone else gotten these problems?

  4. hmm never knew you could open a vob file with TMPGEnc, the way I do it and the way I see it in most guides is to use DVD2AVI to generate a d2v and wav and feed those to TMPGEnc.

Or you can use Virtual Dub MPEG-2 mod to open the vob, and frameserve it to TMPGEnc.

No, www.dvdrhelp.com/mpeg2tovcd , dvd2avi only "frameserves" the video to tmpgenc.
