  6. Well as far as I was aware, most dvd (svcd/vcd) player wont play the digital sound tracks like dts or dolby digital in an svcd or vcd disk. I tried it myself by re-encoding the trailer video to svcd from original vob, then muxed the dts track back in. the ending mpg (burned on svcd) did not work on the player at all(well video played, no sound), but plays fine on the pc.

  7. fridayknight is correct, very few DVD players will play DD or DTS audio muxed with a (S)VCD. A few (but not many) will play 'mini-dvd'. That is very shor DVD movies, in full DVD format but burnt to a CD. Fewer still will play raw VOB files or raw mpeg files burnt to CD.

So what this basically all boils down to is that your chances of success are small but not non-existent. It all comes down to the capabilities of your DVD player.

    Hope this helps
