I have used Verbatim DVD-R's and have had no problem with them until I ran into the Samsung P721M DVD player. This player has all sorts of problems with my Verbatim Data life plus Media. Is Pioneer Media better? Should I not waste my time and money on these expensive DVD-R media on this player?
Has anyone had a situation that a Verbatim datalife plus DVD-R , has had trouble with 1 type of player, but with Pioneer media plays fine in that player?

The best media is apple...
If you cannot cough up the $$ for Apple media (it's expensive) try out Ritek or BeAll or better yet, Target has a sale on TDK media [$30 for a 20 pack]) which plays on everything I tried it on.
If you look back on this forum, you can see that some people are having problems with Verbatim media.
Hope this is helpful
