    Hi all,

I have read whilst looking through the forum that when somebody has a problem with some software, it is sometines suggested that they have a missing codec.

Does anybody have a list of what codecs each program requires?

    Thanks in advance

Video codecs/filters are required to play different video formats. If you can play the video with media player you often can open the video with the video software also.

You can use avicodec or gspot to identify what codecs you need to install.
