Ok. Xp was freezing, often when i used tmpg. My install was degrading (other bugs etc...) so I formatted and ran a clean install(took out any shit too).

I'm now running a fresh install and it still freezes. I'm thinking software or driver conflict.

I'm running twin athlon MP 2000+ on a tyan tiger board. 1GB ram. 80GB Master HD and 120GB Slave. TNT2 64pro graphics card. CreativeSB Live sound card. Pioneer 105 DVD burner. DVD Rom. 3Com NIC card. Windows xp pro sp1 2600.

Relevant programs that have bee in use since the freezing began are tmpgenc. ed2k. kazaa(not running at same time). Ulead dvd movie factory. I also have Norton Antivirus.

I'm kinda stuck and would appreciate any help available.

    Thanks.

Did you install each peice of hardware seperatly, reboot and then add another or did you simply stick everthing in and let Windows allocate IRQ's?
I'm clutching at straws but maybe you chould check any hardware conflicts first
