    What does everyone think of this program? I just happened upon it, but wonder what others think of it before I try it.

    It _claims_ one-click DVD->DVDR, DVD->VCD, DVD->SVCD, DVD->DIVX.

    Is it any good?

  2. dvdfab.com is free so I'd say if your just gonna split to two dvd-rs stick with this one. InterVideo DVDCopy has no transcoding ability like dvdshrink, dvd2one, dvd95copy or instant copy 7.

    Ahrm.

    Define "transcoding" for me if you wouldn't mind?

  4. partial reduction of the bitrate on the motion vectors or something along those lines. InterVideo DVDCopy, DVDXCopy and DVDFAB do not have transcoding thus they can only strip out streams when doing movie only or split entire dvd over two dvd-rs.

  5. Do you have a link to InterVideo?

    Forgive me for the following short answer:

    It's caca!

    I tried the trial version, and after a few hours all I got was a bunch of .mpeg (or similar ) files.
    Totally useless. :P
