DVD burning issues with Ulead MovieFactory

Hi. I just got the Sony DRU510a. Had to return a HP300e yesterday, but I am getting the same errors in Ulead MovieFactory with both drives. I have 3 tv episodes that are a little over 1 gig apiece. The total project size is 3.4 GB. In Ulead moviefactory, I start burning and after it finalizes the VOB, it stops and gives me "Not enough Disc space to write, try another disc". I tried Arcsoft Showbiz dvd with the HP drive and it would keep giving me "Disc Write failure" just before starting the write operation.

I tried the software included with the Sony drive and Sonic Mydvd will burn the disc. I'm using the exact same files in each software program. What's the deal? Ulead tells me that the project requires 3.4GB to write and that I have 4.4GB available on my dvd-rw. MyDVD tells me that I have 504MB left on the same dvd-rw.

I would just forget about it and use MyDVD, but I liked the menu options in Ulead better. Any suggestions?

Running on a P4, 2.4GHz, 512 RAM, and 80GB HD (about 20GB available).

I would use the NTI plugin to write in MF,if that doesn't work install ForceASPI(free in Tools).
