  1. I've downloaded ffdshow so I can let VDUB process the audio from an xvid file, but my question is where should I install ffdshow? I've saved the .exe file in a folder, but now what do I do so that the proper codecs will correct the VDUB problem?

  3. Well, from what I've been reading, when users here try to use Virtualdub on an xvid file, they received an error message. I have been getting the same error message, so after researching the problem on here, I found out that I needed ffdshow to correct the problem. So, if I install ffdshow to c: programs, I'm assuming that it will correct the problem with Virtualdub? (sorry to sound so green here).
